Motorhome Pitch Terms – The View Sweden

Applicable to booking, stay and use of motorhome pitch services.

1. Parties & Applicability

These terms apply between The View Sweden (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the guest (“you”, “your”).

By booking, paying for, or using our services, you accept these terms and conditions.

Bookings for accommodation are exempt from the right of withdrawal under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act.

Any disputes shall be governed by Swedish law and settled in Jönköping District Court as the court of first instance.

2. Nature of the Business & Environment

The View Sweden is a nature-based motorhome stop located on an active family farm in Brandstorp, Habo Municipality, surrounded by horses, farmland and forest.

The area offers proximity to swimming, forest walks and the village center (approximately 2 km).

The stay takes place in a rural environment where natural risk factors may occur. Guests are responsible for exercising due care at all times. Children must always be supervised by a legal guardian.

3. Pitches & Capacity

• 26 numbered pitches with electricity (10A)

• 4 additional pitches without electricity

• Only motorhomes, camper vans, or vehicles with roof tents are permitted

• One vehicle per pitch

• Tents and caravans are not permitted

Booking Categories

Pre-bookable:

• VIP (#1–5)

• Fin (#11–18)

Drop-in (subject to availability):

• VIP Skymd (#6–10)

• Fin Skymd (#19–26)

• Extra (#1–4 without electricity)

During special events, we reserve the right to allocate drop-in pitches in advance.

4. Group Bookings

• Entire facility (26 pitches): payment no later than 1 month before arrival

• Up to 13 pitches: payment no later than 2 weeks before arrival

• List of vehicle registration numbers required no later than 2 weeks before arrival

Please provide vehicle registration number, pitch number, dates, number of nights, and vehicle length.

5. Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: 13:00–18:00
Check-out: no later than 13:00

Failure to arrive without prior contact before 18:00 will be considered a no-show and charged in full.

6. Payment & CancellationPayment Methods

• Swish: 123 151 89 35

• Card or cash for drop-in guests

• PayPal if required

Cancellation

• 48 hours or more before arrival: full refund

• Less than 24 hours before arrival: no refund

• Illness or vehicle breakdown (with documentation): refund minus SEK 50 administrative fee

For unpaid amounts, we reserve the right to charge statutory late payment interest under the Swedish Interest Act, as well as invoicing fees.

7. Electricity, Deposit & Technical Responsibility

Electricity fee: SEK 80 per night (10A)

Electric key deposit: SEK 100
Refunded upon return. Lost key is non-refundable.

When paying by Swish or card, SEK 100 may be added to avoid handling cash.

Guests are responsible for:

• Approved electrical cables and adapters

• Proper and safe usage

• Avoiding overload of the system

Damage to electrical installations or tampering will be charged to the guest.

Adapters are available for rent: SEK 50.

8. Facilities

• Daily cleaning of toilets and showers

• Fabric towels available (guests are encouraged to bring their own)

• Baby changing table in accessible restroom

• Dishwashing station – key provided at check-in

• Washing machine & dryer: SEK 150

• Free Wi-Fi in the restaurant area (not available at pitches)

• Fresh water available

• Grey water disposal area – must be left clean

Black water disposal is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in immediate removal and liability for environmental damage under the Swedish Environmental Code.

9. Barbecuing & Fire Safety

• Barbecuing only on gravel surfaces or designated fire areas

• Disposable grills are prohibited

• Fire bans must always be respected

• Fires must never be left unattended

• Charcoal and ashes must not be disposed of in regular waste bins

Guests are fully liable for fire or damage caused by negligence.

10. Parking & Distance Requirements

• Pitches #1–4 and #19–26: drive in forward

• VIP #5 & Fin #11–18: vehicles under 10 meters only

• Fin #11–18: reverse parking required – registration number visible in left side mirror

• Minimum 4 meters between vehicles

• License plate must be clearly visible
  

11. Rules of Conduct & Safety

• Pets must be kept on a leash

• Quiet hours: 23:00–09:00 (except during private events)

• Guests are responsible for their visitors

• Vehicles must carry valid traffic insurance

We reserve the right to immediately remove any guest who violates the rules, causes damage, or disturbs the peace. No refund will be issued in case of removal.

Suspected criminal activity may be reported to the police.

12. Liability & Damages

Guests are responsible for:

• Their vehicle

• Valid insurance coverage

• Personal belongings

• Damage caused through negligence

The View Sweden is not liable for damage, loss or theft unless caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct on our part.

All use of the facility and stay on the premises is at the guest’s own risk.

13. Events & Restaurant

Guests booking dinner in connection with live music on the terrace during summer are not guaranteed any discount on the pitch fee. Electricity fees apply.

The restaurant may be closed for private events. Please check our website or social media for updates.

An external parking fee may apply: SEK 50 per night.

14. Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (including extreme weather, government decisions, power outages, etc.), the stay may be modified or cancelled without liability for damages.

15. Personal Data (GDPR)

We process:

• Vehicle registration numbers

• Phone numbers

• Booking information

Purpose:

• Booking administration

• Security

• Communication during the stay

• Accounting obligations

Data is stored in accordance with Swedish accounting law or as long as required for security purposes.

You have the right to request access, correction or deletion of your personal data where permitted by law.

16. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms. The current version is always available on our website and on-site.

If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain fully enforceable.
